Privacy Policy

How Retwerts accesses, uses, stores, and shares data for authorized Google Ads management and reporting.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. About Retwerts and this policy

Retwerts is an independent application for managing, analyzing, and reporting on Google Ads accounts for multiple clients. This policy explains the categories of information involved in operating the application, why the information is used, where it may be stored, and how account owners can exercise control over their data. For privacy inquiries, contact retwerts@gmail.com.

2. How Google Ads access is granted

Retwerts accesses Google Ads accounts only when the relevant account owner or authorized administrator has provided access. Access can be established in two ways: (a) a client's Google Ads account is linked to an authorized Google Ads manager account (MCC); or (b) a user grants access to Retwerts through Google's OAuth consent process. OAuth lets users authorize API access without supplying their Google password to Retwerts. The accounts and operations available to Retwerts depend on the applicable Google permissions and client authorization.

3. Information accessed or processed

For authorized Google Ads accounts, Retwerts processes information relevant to advertising management and reporting. This may include:

  • Google Ads customer/account IDs, account names, access settings, and account relationships;
  • Campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, audience, asset, targeting, bidding and budget configurations;
  • Performance information, including impressions, clicks, costs, conversion metrics, campaign results and related reports;
  • Changes made to advertising settings or campaigns when a client has authorized management operations;
  • OAuth authorization data, including credentials or tokens needed to maintain authorized connections, where OAuth is used;
  • Business contact information and correspondence that people send to Retwerts to request support or discuss services.

The exact data available and processed depends on the client's accounts, permissions, settings, and the functions used. Certain reporting fields may contain user or customer information if it is present in the connected advertising account; those fields should be accessed only when required for an authorized task.

4. Why and how data is used

Retwerts uses the information for services requested or authorized by the relevant client, including retrieving campaign performance, preparing analyses and reports, evaluating advertising results, reviewing account structure, and creating, adjusting, or managing campaigns, bids, budgets, ads, and other Google Ads settings when authorized. Account IDs and OAuth credentials are used to connect to the correct accounts and maintain permitted access. Contact information is used to answer requests and handle client communications.

Google Ads information is used in connection with the relevant client's advertising operations, rather than to grant one client access to another client's account. The application may process data automatically when generating reports or carrying out requested account-management workflows.

5. Storage and processing locations

Depending on the task, advertising information, reports, working files, account identifiers and necessary authorization data may be processed or retained in a combination of cloud-based systems and local computers or servers. Examples of stored outputs include data exports, analysis files, reports and application logs. Not every item is retained for every task. OAuth access or refresh tokens may be held where necessary to maintain an authorized connection and should be protected from unauthorized access.

The location and duration of storage depend on the relevant workflow and operational or legal requirements. Data that is only retrieved for a particular operation does not necessarily need to be retained as a permanent copy.

6. Who may receive the information

Google Ads information may be accessed by people operating Retwerts who need it to provide the authorized services, shared with the client responsible for the relevant account, or processed by technical service providers used for cloud hosting, storage, computing or application operations. Such technical providers process information in connection with delivering their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

Retwerts is not designed to publish client advertising data or to make one client's account information available to other unrelated clients. If a particular engagement requires additional recipients or external tools, the handling of that data should be addressed with the affected client before it is transferred.

7. Security

Retwerts uses Google's authorization mechanisms for access to Google Ads accounts. The public website is served over HTTPS. Access to client data and authorization credentials should be restricted to those who need it for authorized operations, and credentials should not be disclosed in public reports or website content. Like other internet and storage systems, no method of processing or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Retention and deletion

Information may be retained for the time needed to perform authorized advertising work, maintain reports and operational records, address client requests, and meet applicable contractual or legal requirements. Different data types and workflows can have different retention periods; this policy does not claim one fixed deletion period for all data.

Clients may request the review, export, correction where applicable, or deletion of their stored information by contacting retwerts@gmail.com. Retwerts will evaluate the request, remove data that is no longer needed or required to be retained, and explain if any information must be kept for a legitimate legal or contractual reason. Revoking Google authorization prevents further access through that authorization, but does not automatically erase previously generated reports or exports; deletion of those copies can be requested separately.

9. Your control over account access

Clients and authorized administrators can manage or remove manager-account access in Google Ads. When OAuth is used, the Google account holder can review and revoke third-party authorization in their Google Account permissions. Requests about data held by Retwerts can be sent to retwerts@gmail.com. Revoking access may prevent the application from continuing some reporting or management functions.

10. This public website

The pages on retwerts.com provide information about the application and do not themselves provide a public login or collect information through web forms. The website's hosting and network providers may process ordinary technical request data, such as IP addresses and request timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. People who email Retwerts voluntarily provide the information included in their messages.

11. Policy changes

This policy may be updated if the application, its data handling or the applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted at https://retwerts.com/privacy/ with the updated date. Material changes to how Google user data is used should be communicated to affected users and, where required, consent obtained before the new use.
